Song Lyric Sunday – Broken by Seether

This is the first time in SLS history that I almost posted two songs. I was looking up songs yesterday for inspiration on the theme, and when I read the lyrics to this one, I decided on “picture/photograph”. I had every intention of posting this song, because I’ve been wanting to share it for a while, but it hasn’t fit any of the themes.

When I woke up this morning, I was thinking of another song, and when I listened to it, it made me cry. You might wonder why I’m not choosing it, since it seemed to have such an impact, but I suppose I can always use it on another day, and this one seems to fit more with things that happened this week. “I don’t feel right when you’ve gone away.”

I love the grittiness of Shaun Morgan’s voice with the haunting beauty of Amy Lee’s. I really do love Seether and I’m shocked this is only the second song of theirs that I’ve shared. I do hope you enjoy!
